() by the repeal of section 37 thereof and by the sub-

stitution thorefor of the following section -

"87. Provided also that the names of all countries which prohibit the import of prepared opium or dross opium shall be notified in the Gazette."

(3.) Where an agent or servant of the Farmer is appointed the Governor may require the Farmer to give security for the good beba- viour and integrity of such servant or agent."

(v.) in section 67 (1) aud also in sections 68 (1) and 69 by the insertion in each case after the words "any Police" of the word "Revenue".

(p.) by the repeal of soction 73 and the substitution

therefor of the following sectiou ---

"73,-(1) All opium, other than raw opium, seized with regard to which any breach of any section of this Ordinance other than see- tions 35 (7), (8), (9), 36, 37, 76 aml 77, or of any regulation made under this Ordi- nance, has been committed, together with any implements, may be forfeited by the Magistrate and in his discretion adjudged and delivered in whole or in part to the Farmer.

(2.) All opium, other than raw opium, seized with regard to which any breach of see- tion 35 (7), (8), (9), 36, 37, 76 or 77 of this Ordinance has been committed, shall be forfeited by the Magistrate to the Crown."

(7.) in section 76 by the addition after the words "to be forfeited" in the fourth line of sub-section 2 of the words to the Crown" and by the repeal of the last seven lines of the section.

(r.) in section 77 by the repeal of the proviso. (s) in scetion 78 (1) thereof by the deletion of the proviso and the substitution therefor of the follow- ing proviso - provided that opium other than raw opium be not sold within the Colony, except to the Opium Farmer, during the currency of the farm existing at the time of such forfeiture, and provided further that raw opium be not sold within the Colony except for export therefrom or except to the Opium Farmer, during the currency of the farm existing at the time of such forfeiture."
